I’ve sold some high end keys here, Avengers #1, ASM #129 and a great copy of TOS #39, along with many other keys.

I think this book tops them all though.

Rocket Comics #1 CGC 6.5!!

 - An absolute beauty with rare off-white to white page quality, beautiful colors and one of the nicest Back Covers of a GA book,  3rd highest graded book.  

Only 9 exist under the Universal Blue Label according to CGC Census and this one being the only Pedigree with it being Billy Wright!  The Wright Pedigree is one of the most valuable as his collection featured 47 of the top 100 books on overstreet’s top 100 list.  

This book was sold on HA in 2012 for $1,045.  The industry has appreciated quite a bit since then and Golden Age books are the best to invest in.  I acquired this book in a trade and gave up some nice SA keys at the Denver Con last year.  I did some research and I’ve spoke with some seasoned veterans in the industry.  Most said that due to the rarity of this book and high page quality along with it being one of Billy Wright’s books it’s value is around $3,800-$4,500 depending on the buyer.  I’m listing it lower than that at

Asking $3,400 because I think this book is worth it and I want to price it to sell to pay off some medical bills.  I hope it goes to a good home!  If not I will hold on to it, sell some other books and watch the value increase.

What a small collection! 340 comics. I've never seen a Billy Wright comic before, nor this particular comic. Very cool for some lucky buyer.

I remember this auction well. The way he picked his books was like he had a crystal ball to the future. Even one of these books would be the diamond in ones collection.

Oh I know!  And to think that these were found in his basement without  moisture damage! I mean could you imagine being the one to discover these?  I think I would pass out!  I almost posted this 4 other times before today and cancelled the posting because it’s super hard for me to sell this.
