Crime Suspenstories 20 CGC 9.2 OW Gaines File Copy (#2 of 12) Gaines cert is included. 

No recent GPA on high grade copies, but the mid-grade ones have been through the roof. A 6.0 sold in May for $1030 and a 4.0 went for $545. 

Current census: 88 total copies graded, 2 at 9.2, 4 higher. At least 2 of the 4 copies above this one are locked up in long term collections, so who knows when one of the others will come to the market. If this book is on your list, it’s time to man up

 for a neat high grade non-Gaines copy. For those of you who don’t know, Gary Arlington is credited with opening the first comic book store and was highly influential in the underground comix scene in SF during the late 60s and 70s. He also happened to be a huge EC fan and collector, and many of his books were original owner copies (some were even sold with the original EC envelopes he received them in).

I’m sure our resident experts could give a ton more details about him, but I at least wanted to give an overview

If I didn't already have a GFC of this issue, this copy would be at my house by now.
