I ended up getting four 100 sheet packages of Silver Age micro-chamber paper for a net after coupon of $74.28 including shipping  - that's just $18.57 per pack, delivered.

Who just paid $78 for an auction win (checks watch) 38 minutes ago?

THIS GUY.

That happened to me yesterday, except the ebay promo 'deal' I missed by minutes was for extra ebucks or whatever it's called.

This one is well timed for another I had my eye on, thanks Liz!

Nice - thanks for the heads up.  Grabbed a pack of 200 cardboard comic mailers for about $100 shipped after the discount.

I screwed around all day trying to figure out how to use this coupon again with my other eBay account, and finally settled with the following with about three minutes to spare:

Really finished my POA collection this time (we'll see how those Hotflips guys do):

And then got a couple off-brand Australian comics (think hen's teeth - might as well buy the rag copies, as I'll probably never see another copy again) for the paratrooper cover collection:

I got Punisher 102 in cgc 9.6 with the coupon :foryou: basically made it free shipping lol

For $106... not too bad considering it wasn't a percentage coupon.

I picked up a couple Doctor Strange silver age minor keys.

These coupons are a blessing & a curse... I almost feel guilty if I don't buy something, because I could have saved money. When in reality, I don't really -neeed- anything.

I wasted the bulk of the day trying to "save" $30 in the most economical fashion...,

Heh, almost fell into the same trap myself Mike.

Won a Wolvie Ltd series 2-4 lot for half the COUPON amount, and shopped, almost buying, to spend another 40 to save 15.  Which would've been great savings % if I found something I needed/wanted at $45, but then luckily moved onto other stuff on my 'to do' plate (like check pornsites or something, I forget).

Don't underestimate the importance of checking pornsites.

Hi Liz, can I ask why you bought this paper, is it to place within your raw comics to stop the colour seeping?  Also do you place it on the inside front and inside back covers, thanks.

That's right - I wipe janet with it, but unfortunately, she's still a turd!

I put it in my raw GA/SA/BA comics before I re-bag them - usually one inside the front cover, one inside the back and one in the middle.  A few more in the 64/100 pagers.  You have to be careful with SA DCs, and I typically put them one interior page back from the covers to help prevent staple pop (CGC is doing this now), as SA DCs are especially susceptible to that.

I am unaware as to whether it prevents color seeping - not even sure what you mean.

Here is a link to all the microchamber propaganda:  http://www.conservationresources.com/Main/S CATALOG/MicroChamber.htm

Quite likely it is overkill, but who knows how long I might live.  It's just a habit I've gotten into.
