APR 1953; Cream to off white pages. It's fitting that E.C.'s most versatile artist was assigned cover duties on the most recognizable horror title of all for 18 consecutive issues. It would undoubtedly have been longer but Dr. Wertham (sigh) came along.... Davis' work can also be found on the interior, along with that of Joe Orlando, Jack Kamen, and Graham Ingels.
