9.8 run is probably my next goal for this series. That does seem like alot though. I haven't found a high grade raw ever of 23 to date.

I was actually surprised at how low it went. I was watching it and figured it would go higher but I may have a biased view on the book.

Have you thought about selling the 9.8?  Also are any of the raw copies possible a high grade?

My 9.8 is locked away. I have 50+ raw copies. A few are 9.x candidates as a couple are from pedigree collections but I doubt any would grade at 9.8. Like others have said tough to find high grade in the wild. I have been buying the book since it came out in 1976 but don’t pick up raw copies often.  I picked up the original artwork for the cover probably over 10 years ago.
