Hope Marilyn gets over the measles...poor kid

You should have seen what Widmark looked like after he caught them from her!

On my last few submissions, they seem to be worse than ever.  Agree? Disagree?

Here's a particularly bad example.  When they disfigure Marilyn, they've gone too far! :sumo:

Gawd, that's awful.

Have to agree; that's the worst I've seen since the new slab debacles two years ago. :whatthe:

I'm surprised it slipped through QC with such obvious Newtonian splotches.  hm

That's pretty bad. :frown:

Any chance that Newton Rings might be affected by the weather? i.e. The hot and humid summer months makes it worse?

Don't think that should make much difference. Just that plastic on plastic pressing. Which would help explain why a slightly thicker holder, with a minimal amount of additional room, might fare better. The book isn't harmed, but a buyer not in the know might be put off by the appearance. Having a decent scan pre-slab seems to be a partial solution, anyway.

Now you have to show the original art! :)

It doesn't have Newton Rings.

I love fig newtons. When did they start making them into rings?

Right after they figured out how to gather them from Uranus.
