Great article, but how have I made it to 2018 without knowing about The Fighting Hobo?  I strongly feel he's going to fix everything in INFINITY WAR 2.

Hahah - it was great fun to have the NY Times in my house -- my family was impressed.  But, I screwed up, shortly after the interview I learned of a FOURTH Hobo character from the Golden Age -- oops

I fully embrace the era's hobophilia.

Others may have known him longer and more may know him better, but how many have a sketch by our hero in their 3-Minute Sketchbook?

I call it "3MS by OMLguy."

No doubt the sale of my copy will fund my retirement! Right?

As mentioned upthread, here's the link to the LA Times article about Glen Gold:
http://www.latimes.com/books/la-ca-jc-glen-david-gold-20180627-story.html

To add one more to the list, David Mandel was featured a while back in the New York Times:
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/07/fashion/mens-style/david-mandel-comic-book-art-star-wars-veep.html

and finally Chris Caira talks about his Brian Bolland collection on a podcast that focuses on all things Judge Dredd:
http://megacitybookclub.blogspot.com/2018/01/57-gaze-into-fist-of-dredd.html

of course all three of these gentlemen are also interviewed by Felix:

That is a Finn original -- they are exceedingly rare.....yet, I'm sorry to say, of minimal value.  Like many artists, his market will likely skyrocket about his death and people will clamor for his Snoopy renditions....

I have no doubt this will fund the college educations of my great-grandchildren. After all, it’s by the greatest artist/lawyer of his generation.
