Can’t get much more iconic than the co-creator of Spider-Man... Wow, big loss. I’d love to hear the conversation between Ditko and Kirby right now...

RIP Mr Ditko and thanks!

He was greatness.  It's a shame he became so reclusive.  Thousands of fanboys would have loved to have met him at CONS.

Agreed. May he RIP.

Sad news indeed. Another legend is gone! As the old guy here his was the first Marvel book I picked up in 1964(ASM #15) for my birthday at the young age of 8.  I had never seen Spider-Man prior and been hooked ever since. RIP Mr. Ditko

One of the last of the true greats. Very sad news - so few fans got to meet him but he was still one of the key players in the industry. RIP.

Does anybody know how many issues of Spidey he drew?

Is it 41 issues?

AF#15, ASM 1-38 and ASM annuals 1-2.

That above run is classic Marvel.

I'm glad he lived his life the way he wanted to.
