Your Thoughts On My CGC Wall Display 0

I was wanting to find a cheaper way to display my CGC comics than the latest "Wall Mount" display craze.

So, I went to Lowe's and cut 3" pieces of J-Channel Vinyl Siding and voila!  

I spent less than $20 to display 60 CGC comics versus what would have been well over $300 for the Wall Mounts (5 pack costs $30 on Amazon).

As you can see, they are secured at the top and bottom, they don't wobble like the wall mounts do and they don't cover up any of a CGC comic's info.  

What do you guys think?

I used to put my best books up on the wall behind my bed when I was a kid.  I no longer believe that to be a good idea for several reasons, but if it makes you happy, have fun.

I briefly had my almost complete X-men run on my bedroom wall, took them down shortly after one of my stoner friends threw a dart at the "94 hole" and put a hole in the top of my 108.

On the back of each piece, there are two pre-made slots that I secure them with push pins into the wall.

Cool cost effective way to display your books! Just watch out for exposure to sunlight!

Pretty cool.  I would buy some sort of UV film, or UV resistant Mylite bag for each slab if they make such a thing though.

I like it.  This way you've saved money that you can spend on an alarm system with laser beams and a reinforced steel door with retina scan.

I was the opposite I kept mine in a box under the bed, thank goodness they were only the British reprints. Over the years growing up it ended up with me hiring a mountaineering party just to get of the bed of a morning. Although I did get to be quite good at yodelling.
