Hi.

I recently bought this comic book on ebay and it was listed as a high grade NM copy at a decent price. I am not that clued in on grading but have read/watched a few tutorials.

Any way I bought it and to my surprise the book from the outside did indeed look as described. But I have a question about the inside pages. There is a lot of fading of the black ink used on the pages (some of this has smudged on the opposite page).

The art does make heavy use of black as well so the fading seems very pronounced. Is this normal for a book that otherwise seems so new? Just curious if the book hasn't been stored in the wrong place or maybe pressed which has caused this.

Get it stabbed. That way the interior is meaningless.

Agreed. Then get it slabbed.
