New Spidey Art Added and a question 0

I picked up this ASM #14 Erik Larsen cover recreation this last week.  To me, its a really nice piece to have, even if it is a cover recreation, but since I will probably never get a chance to own the original Ditko, this is fine.  My question is what exactly is a STAT?  And my second question is what do you think about this piece?

I think Erik did a nice job. 

A stat (photostat) is basically a photocopy laid over the OA to achieve a change to the art, e. g., cover elements or art corrections.

I’ve eyed up that recreation too, glad you picked it up! A heck of a lot cheaper than a Larsen ASM original cover, but fun as hell.

Thanks, it was cheaper than an original ASM Larsen cover, but it still has that look, plus with it being an ASM 14 cover, I really like it.
