@batmiesta I'm saving the wrapped one a little longer!The number 21/10 is gorgeous,seems to unwaved in transit,and the bonus are fab,love them!Can't wait to see the gift!I waited to unwrap the whole parcel till last night,just to be sure I didn't spoil the surprise.

So,I might  recognize the sender,but I'm not sure and I'm not expecting anything.Mrs Porcupine was like 'yeah,riiiiiiiighhht Jimmers'(massive eyeroll) but really-I'm sort of just looking at it right now,waiting....

Spaceman seems to think it's safe,just wants it off HIS washer/lounge.(Apartment sized,years ago I gave up and said,no more moving,welcome new counter space  Lucky it's a big ol' eat in kitchen,and there'd likely be a hole in the flooring.Yes,I have mild mess shame,please don't judge!)

I've been a little scatterbrained lately,I'm an emotional sort and when I get stressed it does something to my insides and long short-ammonia builds up and it gives me a mild dementia.Not often too confused but it's like I run hot or cold,from giddy to the morbs and back and forth and loop de loop!I forget that I have this page though,so I guess I can use it to blab,just throw some comic posts up here and there!What I'm saying is-I struggle,get bouts of severe angst and sad,sometimes anger and they can consume me.Talking to a white screen helps.Talking about comics helps even more.And,well,I don't think it's a secret I'm a lover of animals and music!

So,bare with me and I hope y'all dig my stuffs!Lets start with some junque!

Here's the main part of the Crypt,treasure chamber 13-it's a mess,but it's a few years of build up,I did some retail therapy and wasn't all that organized-hell,for a year or so there I couldn't get out of bed,and it was a good two years plus before I could be lifting boxes more than one or two a day

    I was also a little out of it before I went into hospital,

doing something weird with my sorting.Who knows WHAT I was thinking.I'm also still searching for the perfect rounded back armchair.The cat's pee'd in protest of me being gone for months as that's where I sat until I passed out from drinking,doping everyday.The white 'space chair'as I call it is cool,but not video game,comic work comfy

Yeah,I like toys a bit  and have a few slabs .Some of the build up is the comics I inherited from Ghost Rider ,rest in peace.Haven't went through those boxes too much,aside from enough to know he'd sold some of my stuff  He was like another dad,big brother,so I'd have things of his,he'd have books of mine-he had a scanner,I didn't,I'd read his comics...

That's the main  comic room!Have another five or eight boxes in the bed chamber the missus isn't to pleased about,but that rooms about three times the size of the room shown at least  

I know it's a lot of Hot Wheels..it started as I noticed they were 87 cents at Walmart years ago,so I'd pick out one or two I'd had as a kid or fantasy cars.Then I got the bug,and would look through the display of hundreds if I was with girlfriends and they were bra or shoe shopping,the collection grew.So,people started getting me neat ones,I was never for getting an actual street car-Arden got me a set of Universal Monsters,people would get me superhero ones,it was an easy cheap gift during gift giving times,easier than comics and all the doubles would go to the nieces or nephews.Then,when I was in hospital,people would bring them as a pick me up,look forward to putting them up if,when I got home.And,well,I like them!A lot!There's a stash of vintage ones jere,but the carded ones are pretty obvious so I mention them.Some of them are close to twenty years old now.

I'm just a big kid,love toys,love them.Hurts that now the stuff I'd thrift for pennies is now hip and retro,vintage.I don't care if it's worth money,not like it's going anywhere!Arden secretly and not so secretly loves it too.I mean,there's a reason we just celebrated twenty one years together!

As you can tell,I'm running a bit hot today,tonight.Understand though that maybe later I'll be up and think awful things like god you're so stupid,why would you..lie awake thinking I overshared,think of taking posts down,beat myself up..

Thanks for a look at your Crypt Jimmers.  Looks like a place that is special to you and makes you happy. So important to be as happy as possible on this short trip we call life. I try and stay as happy as possible. I am aware of things that bum me out but choose to go to places that help me escape. Don’t think about or dwell on the dark mi amigo!

I’ve sent you some pics of my “happy place”. Always happy to share with my friends but not so eager to share with strangers. My grandkids love it!

I've my happy places in this big ol' flat I don't post pics of-the toy room's meant to be enjoyed though,just like the record spot!Makes ya wonder what's IN all those boxes and nooks!Did you see the guard tarantulas?

Edit-I remember the pictures well,it was an honour.I have some cabinets,things I don't share public too-it's a big bad world,showing a few toys wont hurt,it's mostly nostalgia stuff

The family kids love the Crypt,but those are uncle Jimmers toys!They have their own play place and toy boxes,but aaalllwaays try for the'well,what if I just..?'  

This is a good way to show myself just how messy things are when I finally get things sorted

I just got a Baby Huey in the other day,finally have a Weatherbird shoes promo.I wasn't shaming Tubby,I was referring to the Giant size of the comic

I like the fat books, too.

I foolishly sold off my Baby Huey books. I think I prefer most of the Lulu stuff, tho.

Yeah, the Dell Giants are great. I only have half a dozen of them and a few of the Australian reprints, but they are such nice comics.
