A few up the top I don't know.

Ok, Steve and Adamantium got the ball rolling and named the low hanging fruit (kidding, kidding).

Who else remembers the missing Spidey baddies (without looking)?

Just peeked. Eight I wouldn't have got.

I quite enjoyed that. Amazing (heh heh) how the characters and names stick isn't it, 40 odd years later.

I would have gotten all the ASM ones and about half the MTU/GS SM ones.

I love these type of art pieces and especially enjoy the Spider-Man covers that feature the multiple villain motif, like ASM 141.

Is there two villains missing then, from the Andru Spidey portfolio?

I think he was an incredibly story teller, something I am now more impressed with after seeing the slim plots that Stan and other writers gave him.  I think he did have a quirkiness that endeared himself to me as well.  The great lengths he went to portray the real world of the city he lived in was simply amazing.

It harkens me back to this quote "That's the difference between Ross and most guys.  He didn't know how to fake.  He loved what he did, and didn't care how much he had to bleed to do it"  Mike Esposito

Because this thread I have become more of a Andru fan , did not appreciate him that much when he was drawing spidey, was hard to replace Romita an Kane 😷🥴

Andru drawn characters only.  Not sure Ross every knew about Alistair.  Alas, poor Toy did not make the cut, lol.

Hehe.  I didn't look at the drawing.  Just read the post and try to remember anything  from the man-wolf night up to the White Dragon graduation.
