Sitting way outside the main Dell pence variant date range is this Beatles giant dated Sept-Nov 1964 which I have sitting in my 'investigations' folder along with a few other books:

  

 

From the pictures I've seen online, everything seems identical - interior, indicia, back cover etc.:

  

                                                       UK                                                                                                             US

Only the cover price box differs it seems. So is it a genuine price variant? Or is one a reprinting of the other? They're quite pricey, so I will have to wait for an opportunity to pick up a copy of each to make a closer inspection. But on the face of it, it does look like a stand alone 1964 price variant.

Anyone know differently? I won't add it to the list just yet, until it's confirmed

Yes, in comparison to the other Dells, you're quite right Pemart. If it was printed at the same time, on the same presses etc it would be a price variant though so I would have to include it. You don't have a copy do you?

Only the 2nd time I've seen  a UK pricing on this, they must be like hens teeth. I don't know if this applies here, but the white Dell/price box usually denoted a 2nd print?

What other things are lurking in that folder!!!???

I've seen quite a few online actually, but they're always too expensive. Good point about the white price box. It may be that there's no way of knowing which print it is, first or second. We'll see

I found a new one at the London Comic Fair yesterday - I didn't buy it, but took a picture:

 

I like how these later ones cover the US price with the shilling price, rather than sit somewhere else on the cover as was the case with the earlier issues - here's the US version:

 

Only #8 missing for The Lawman now:

 

....although my gut tells me it may not surface  Time will tell. 

I'm due an update here on Dell. Will get around to it at some point, and post the updated known issues list soon.
