3. Even if it was after, its not close enough to the classic pose to be an intentional homage

Not exactly a cover swipe per se, but if ASM 252 is on here, then the ASM700 Dikto variant is my favorite swipe!

Good shout, but ASM 700 isn't a swipe - it's a reprint of the rejected Ditko original which preceded the final Kirby version. So if anything, Kirby's is the swipe!
