There is an odd cursive signature (on the glass maybe) that does look like Frank Jr.'s signature.  And I know he did some odd stuff with signing things as a representative of the Frazetta Museum.  Then again, I may just be imagining that.

It may be. But then he needs to clearly say it was Jr. And its not like it was even a Frazetta print. Whole thing seemed odd.

If anyone is interested, I've been and will continue to be auctioning off the rest of my Parrillo books including the remainder of the Vampirella issues on Ebay. I've done pretty well so far with everything. I've got most of the rest of the Vampirellas left to list. The Warlord of Mars stuff is almost all gone now, but I do have a small pile of Red Sonja stuff left to post over the next week or so.

Enjoying scrolling through your listings, some fun old war books, and then I hit the stunning cover for  March of Evil and glanced at the date, 45, and heard a record scratch. Out of my price range but that is a seriously cool piece of history.

Thanks! That one is a favorite. It’s a pretty incredible item. Found it at my lcs in a stack of old mags they had recently purchased.

Just checking, is a detached cover with rusty staples considered higher grade?

😃

Actually, looking at the book as a whole and considering what sort of condition 1930's books are normally in....

I think you could honestly get away with calling that a "higher grade" book than typical of the era, by a fair margin.  This is not to be confused for one instant with "high grade".

Technically not a Frazetta. It’s Ken Kelly. Frazetta worked on the girls face a little.
