Neither series is setting the roof on fire. Last Hero Standing reads like an early 1980s series which is good in many ways...lots of action...lots of characters...creators seem to just be "having fun" with it. I stopped reading the Spider-Girl Universe a good while back and this series is innocent fun but it won't get me back to picking up the regular books.

 

House of M is only treading water at this point. Too early to say because it reads exactly like the rest of the current TPB fluff being published today. Also I'm probably reading the series with a more skeptical eye due to the Hype involved.

 

LHS gets a slight nod for being the free and simple read without all the pretense of being the next greatest thing to sliced bread.

House of M is absolutely rocking my boat, I don;t know why everyone hates it...

However LHS was aweful and I hated every panel...

 

maybe its because I'm from the UK, must be something in the water smile.gif
