Why is silver surfer so hot 0

I don't know if this is a newbie question but I will ask it anyway. Why is silver surfer so hot right now. Particularly FF 48,49 and 50.  What is the trend for the silver surfer run and most of all why has my silver surfer 1 (9.6) seen no rise in the past few years

Think it was due to movie speculation with the Fox - Walt Disney deal (Fox owned the Silver Surfer movie rights but now that goes to the Mouse). People are hoping that WD could do a better FF/SS movie than Fox did a few years back and that set off the buying frenzy for this super-classic story arc. Unfortunately, the price rise hasn't hit the solo Surfer series yet - but a SS1 in 9.6 is still a sweet book to own!

I think the FF48-50 run will pull the early SS’s up with them soon enough. It’s already started in the low/mid grades...a good opportunity it’s if you ask me. Sick book!

The 9.8 go for 33k and the most recent 9.6 sold for 4200.   I definitely think the 9.6 is undervalued and should be a 7 k book.   If I press mine would it be a 9.8.  Very tempting

I will its locked up now ow to white pages the corners look like a 9.8 on eBay but I'm not an expert on the difference between a 9.6 and 9.8
