BLACKSTONE THE MAGICIAN #3
Grade: 5.0 VG/FN
Price: $450

JUL 1948; Harry Blackstone must have been quite a magician, how else could he have transformed an EC series into a Timely book starting with issue #2? The magician is drawn by Bob Oksner on the issue's bondage cover. Also in these pages is a Blonde Phantom story with Mike Sekowsky art.

BLUE BOLT #110
CGC Grade: 4.0 VG
Price: $1,600

AUG 1951; Cream to Off White pages. This one's a "wow" experience for any L. B. Cole fan, which means almost every fan of the Golden Age! This issue also offers Basil Wolverton art on a Spacehawk story, and there's an appearance by the Target (of Target Comics fame). Fantastic!

DOWN WITH CRIME #4
Grade: 4.0 VG
Price: $150

MAY 1952; They fought the law and the law won: some safecrackers eat lead on this pre-Code cover (and if that's not enough justice for you, some other crooks get perforated by Tommy guns on the back cover). The issue has interior art by Bob Powell.

GHOST RIDER #3
Grade: 4.5 VG +
Price: $450

MAY 1951; All of Frank Frazetta's Ghost Rider covers were exceptional, but this explosion cover is simply incredible, and ranks among his best comic book work. Ayers provided art to Gardner Fox's stories inside. This issue is part of ME's A-1 series, and is also referred to as A-1 #31.
