IMO, the best cover ever. 

Brilliant in it’s simplicity.  There’s really nothing to it.  Yet, so impactful.  You can feel the crack of the lightning.  You can see the leap play out.  And it hints to a scene in the book (something that has been lost the past 15+ years).

It’s Miller at his finest.  It’s perfect.

That cover is an example of what I wanted this thread to be about. Universally considered to be classic covers of the comic book hobby.
