I’m a huge fan of Flash Comics, but only collect the Hawkman covers. I got hooked on the Moldoff covers when I was in high school, but sold a lot of them off while in college. My favorite issue that I currently own is this one, the first Hawkman cover and the only one done by his creator Dennis Neville.

Always loved that cover. Took me a while to warm up to the writing of the GA Flash but I eventually came around. Artwork on jay Garrick’s face for me is either a hit or miss

Regardless of what month it is I think issue #15 is one of the best covers in the run for either character. I wasn’t into the Hawkman covers at first but that issue started to change my mind of the non Flash covers. Kuberts #104 just sealed the deal...

If it’s black and white with the interior it’s Flashback #36 from around 1976. Don Maris started out with the b&w reprints with color covers but it’s the Flashback series that’s most famous to collectors. Great way back then to read comics and keep originals in mint.

It wasn’t a line focused on Flash comics but GA. Here’s a list from mycomicshop which I believe should be complete:

Also a list of the earlier Don Maris reprints. Some issues crossed over with Flashback series issues so it’s possible to have 2 different reprint versions of some books.

The holy trail of Flash comics!!! It looks to be in amazing condition! Would you ever trust it to the mail?? I would rather travel to a con, where they have same day grading.

Holy trail!

Thanks.

No, I'm driving distance to Sarasota if that time ever comes.
