kav
Curt Swan is the most unappreciated artist in the business. He gets a small mention here or there that's it. I consider him the best artist to work in the industry. The poor guy died a broke alcoholic. His work was superseded by the 90s carp. He tried to draw crappy like them but it jut didnt work so he stopped getting jobs. Gnasher, 1950's war comics and Senormac
Popular Post Krydel4
I always felt this was a send off to Swan as much as it was to the Silver/Bronze Age Superman. Popular Post Alf Pogs
Got boxes of Action/Adventure/Superman. Love him and Schaffenberger. Shooter said he had OA to 2 full Swan issues and he called him up to see if he wanted them. Swan said he didn't have room and would just throw them away. Still looking for a nice 282, one of my faves. Senormac, Larryw7, Gnasher and 2 others

SkOw
This one too, like the action above, marks the end of an era on Superman proper. frozentundraguy, Gnasher and JJ-4

kav
One story he did in Action comics called the super super superman he did all kinds of weird perspective shots-it was incredible! Swan never drew like that before or after! wish i had images to post. It might have been this issue: KobaltDog
