No newton rings, great centering, etc. They really look outstanding in-hand! was just looking at my onsite books and thinking the same thing. Great results! BCC was my first time taking my kid too (shes 9). She pulled the "This book is only 10 cents!" joke on me no less than a dozen times (holding anything from a 10 dollar Donald Duck to a $600 Action comic).... glad you got to enjoy seeing your boy "get the bug"! Popular Post miraclemet
My two raw pickups from the show Most of the stuff I was looking for just wasnt there (granted I have a very narrow scope), but I managed to upgrade my Space Action and snag the Joe Palooka Swimsuit issue. That’s great! My son is 11 and was all-in on Spidey so I took him by @G.A.tor‘s booth and was like, “Look, this guy has like 100 AF 15s!” My son was stunned! Popular Post Junkdrawer
I went the VIP route this weekend. To my surprise I was given a yellow ticket that allowed me to cut everyone in the CGC line upon entering Friday at the early VIP admittance. Took me under 3 minutes to drop off my all ready 8 book submission and I was off to the hunt. This was well done by the BCC and I wasted zero time and accomplished the dirty deed of dropping off my books painlessly. Bravo Baltimore. Others take note. As a VIP I was given a tote bag, a neat T shirt, a few variant comics and the 2018 hardcover Yearbook. Oh and a fancy lanyard. This years theme was a tribute to Terry Moore and various attending artist contributed a page to the Yearbook. On Saturday at 5pm they ran an auction and sold off all the original art including Terry’s own cover art that sold for over $2000. Myself, I was able to land the original of page 68, a water color of Rachel Rising by Arantza Sestayo. All of the auction proceeds went to the Heroes Initiative Edited October 1, 2018 by Junkdrawer comicdonna, piper, Keys_Collector and 2 others
Popular Post Junkdrawer
Some pick ups. My sweetest was on Saturday after tossing and turning over night since the day before, thinking one would need a time machine to find such a pretty book. Pep 35. I don’t know how Ted from Superworld finds these or where his time portal is, but my hats off to him and glad I could bring this one home. A lovely Harry Sahle bondage cover. Shown in the raw. Popular Post miraclemet
Heres the results of my onsite subs. The More Fun comics is an Okajima. The Modern Comics got hammered for a back cover shadow, its a 9.2 in every other way. The Prison Break 2 is also nicer than its 5.0 (thought it was more like a high 6), but alas foxing on the back cover... Happily my BV40, Spirit22 and Brick Bradford all came in a grade or two h higher than my pesimism had hoped. So overall happy subs! snitzer, Larryw7, shortboxed and 5 others 7

FlyingDonut
Just back. We moved a lot of books. To anyone who says there wasn't any Golden Age at the Baltimore Comic Con, I'm not sure if you were at the Baltimore Comic Con in Maryland this weekend. ygogolak
