Who hasn't got a nickname, and let's make one up for them.

A few years back, when the Avengers movie just hit, some of the guys at my work were asking me about investment stuff on comic books. I used the term "Cap" and "DD" while talking about key books and got blank stares. Had to go back and clarify Captain America and Daredevil. One of the guys said, "Wait a minute, you actually have nick names for comic book characters?"

It truly was a nerd moment.

And staying with the subject, I think Ironman was Shell-Head and Silver Surfer was Chrome Dome.

Thought the thread was about characters with no codename like Nick Fury, Amanda Waller or Kitty Pryde (although Claremont did try a few names every few issues in the beginning)
