They are addressed at least partially in the DC Universe UPC thread.

I think on the high end you might be able to get $5-$10 per if you get lucky and the copies are really nice.

Ok, thanks, I just found it odd that the two I had have no copies for sale or sold recently on ebay or listed at mile high or MYCS. I couldn't imagine they would be all that rare, but if one can't find them...

It's not that MCS doesn't have them, it's that MCS doesn't always differentiate between the normal version and the Zero Hour logo version. For example, they have separate entires for Superman Man of Steel #0, as well as the individual issues of Zero Hour, but not Steel #0 or Batman SotB #0.

There are two on ebay right now. One for $15 which seems reasonable-ish, and one for $85, which obviously belongs to a crazy person.

Weird, I ran multiple searches and did not see one. This time I did a search for every issue of "0" and see two, both in lots, and am not seeing what you are referring to. Do searches from different people show different stuff? Oh well, I guess I won't be retiring, although it seems fairly uncommon, at least vs. the very common regular direct version.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't justify selling any book for under $15 on feebay, considering the effort, feebay fees, almost mandatory postage discount, PayPal fees and packing.

This is what I am talking about:

DETECTIVE COMICS # 0 (OCT. 94) RARE ZERO HOUR TARGET LOGO UPC VARIANT VF/NM NM-

Those zero-hour logo variants are very easy to find if you are patient.  Prices from Mile High Comics for logo variants tend to be outrageous and you would only want to buy from them if you are desperate to get that variant.   A lot of sellers are still clueless about this variant and these zero-hour target variants can be had for one or two dollars a piece.  Examples follow:

The following pack contains 8 zero-hour logo variants like the one shown above (my guess is that the final sales price will be between $11 to $16 to include shipping):

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Factory-Sealed-DC-Variant-Comic-Zero-Month-8-Issue-Collectors-Pack-1994-RARE-0/153221602014?hash=item23acb81ade:g:xD4AAOSwbWZaXp8i:rk:1:pf:0

And then there's this pack of the "Zero Hour" comic books (5 logo variants of the Zero-Hour series for $16 to include shipping):

https://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-Comics-Zero-Hour-Collectors-Set-5-comics-in-original-package-Sealed/273488206638?epid=11011544062&hash=item3fad2adb2e:g:pIgAAOSwnoVa9Hep:rk:31:pf:0

And then there's this 20-pack contains all zero-hour logo variants... the asking price of the listing below is unrealistic.   I see this pack come up for sale about every 3 to 4 months, and it will typically sell for $30 to $40 including shipping costs:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/20-DC-Comic-Pack-1994-Zero-Month/253933082250?hash=item3b1f97568a:g:TRgAAOSwCExbaV-Y:rk:11:pf:0

An ebay search of any title and the word zero (or some variation of that) will normally reveal some really cheap ones (unfortunately the search for a any title with the "0" in it will yield a bazillion results thanks for the way Mile High Comics creates the title of their listing.   But here's a few cheap ones that I saw:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Superman-in-Action-Comics-DC-1994-0-Zero-Hour-UPC-Variant-HTF/302603989536?hash=item46749a7220:g:EAwAAOSwCMtaXRlc

https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUPERMAN-THE-MAN-OF-STEEL-0-RARE-ZERO-HOUR-TARGET-LOGO-VARIANT-VF/163282606871?hash=item260466db17:g:h9cAAOSwj2Ra43QA:rk:2:pf:0

I hope that helps.

OK, thanks. It seems the ones I was looking for Shadow of the Bat and Steel might pop up less as they are not in the 8 pack. I guess my searches would not pick up the collectors packs, but I looked at every copy of Shadow of the Bat #0, for example, only saw a couple logos. Anyway, not looking to buy them, was just surprised I didn't find a zillion copies of these early 90s books.
