They arrived home safe, sound, and raw. Didn’t sit around long though; re-boxed & shipped to CGC as part of my first submission! Free Comic Book Day 2018 Amazing Spider-Man signed by Ryan Ottley. I commissioned a sketch cover from Mr. Ottley at Comicpalooza, and he is a really nice guy. While talking about the sketch, he asked if I had picked up his FCBD book. I admitted that I had tried, but my LCS was out by the time I got up there. Dude reached into his travel bag, pulled one out, signed it, and says “here, now you’ve got one.” His Venom sketch is incredible too; it’s framed as a wall hanger. Now I want to run across Ryan Stegman & get a Spider-Man sketch cover from him. ;) Batman Adventures 12. Traded a CBCS 3.5 ASM #129 for this, a New Teen Titans book for a friend, and a Venom: LP Gold. A bunch of Skottie Young signed books. Super cool guy. Has a great way of determining who gets sketch work or remarks: roll a pair of dice; if you get doubles, you get a sketch or remark. He let people try once per day, which I thought was very nice. I crapped out Friday & Saturday, but on Sunday I came by as the Felix Comic Art guys were packing up. He laughed & said, “give it one last try.” Boxcars!
