The old lady and I love going to the @Bookery.  We live in Columbus but we make the trip several times a year.

If i called my wife my old lady, I would look like rocket raccoon afterwards.

I own both of these, I really like the Red Sonja cover. I think I own a CGC 9.6 of it.

Thanks :)

They're some pretty cool Campbell cover's, the Red Sonja's Dynamite 1-4, I own a SS 9.6 of #4 that I got with some ebay bucks.

The LCS had the VF #3 priced at $6, will make a nice gift in one of these contests on the boards, or a freebie if I ever sell my #4 9.6.....

The DC comics presents was priced at $60, which I just thought was a decent asking price :)

With these three in close to complete the series, since it's only seven issues and I already had numbers 3,6 and 7. Only number 1 with X-men vs Fantastic Four is missing !

Full of issues (centerfold detached from the inner in n°2 and the covers detached from the inner in n°3) Still, got these cheaper than average, then it's not too bad. Like a lot the high quality materials used.!

My first Mexican comics. The grade is even better than what I expected, lots of eye appeal. The writing bothers little. From 1980.

And finally...

A special 1976 covering a lot of classic issues from Uncle Scrooge. Being him my favorite character and the one I have the most number of comics, including rare and key issues, I could not let this issue pass by me being at about half the normal price, even being by far the most expensive of the bunch. Brings some timeless classics like "Back to Klondike", "The second Richest Duck"

Went to the LCS yesterday, no sale and probably over paid for this, already own a 9.6 with the case broke from a drop, needs a reholder...

Just went to the LCS for the experience and they gave me this prescreen pass to the movie, " how to train your Dragon 2".... gave it to me free, so ya I'll make a purchase, that's customer service

Usually get the passes on my own, but with 2 LCS near a movie theater across the street, they sometimes get them too!

Just another reason supporting the LCS makes the world go round ;)

Good for you! Way back when I worked at the LCS, we used to occasionally get movie passes from the local alternative weekly to give out. They'd advertise that on a certain day folks could come to our shop and pick up free passes, the idea being it would bring people into the store. And it DID bring people into the store...but none of them were shoppers. It was a huge headache. We'd get phone calls all week and day long asking about the passes, how many we had, how many they could get, etc on and on and on. And when the time came, people would lineup outside, come through the shop, get their pass and leave. I think it was after "Mars Attacks" that we stopped doing the free passes, as it didn't seem to bring in any new business, but it brought in a ton of headaches.

In short: bless your comic shops' hearts!
