World of Wakanda #1 30 Days of Night Annual 2005 Retailer Incentive Birds of Prey #69 (Just thought it was a cool Huntress cover) Sweet Avengers #4 cover swipe MTG: Dakkon Blackblade unopened with card. I was surprised to see that this comic/card goes for some decent money. Around $30-$40 for the card alone and $50-$75 for the comic/card unopened. This took something like 4 months in transit to me from Germany, so I was pretty sure it either wouldn't ever arrive, or would arrive in "shipped to death" condition. Happily, neither were true! So, back in 2001, Wildstorm released an EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark comic book based on the video game. It's actually a better book that you'd expect, with Jim Lee doing much of the writing and the cover art (itself adapted from the game's box art), but isn't anything to get excited about. This, on the other hand, is far more obscure. Three years after the original book was printed, it was licensed to mg publishing for a German-language reprint. Except this wasn't a normal foreign language printing. Instead, it was a promotional item released at the 2004 Erlangen International Comic Salon, and limited to 999 copies. I don't think this was even announced as existing to the US market; Wildstorm had dropped its planned series of EverQuest comic adaptations after the second one, all the way back in 2002. So this thing's existence really came out of nowhere. Especially a Star Wars Legacy first app I also bought these from a different seller for $43. I was waiting for the seller to finish talking with a guy and so I was randomly flipping thru a boring long box of indies. I pleasantly found 3 Luther Strode 1s. I bought 2 collections using Facebook and this was the first. 49 copies of The Avengers Annual #10. Out of those, 3 were mangled, 5 were okay, and the rest are at CGC as of yesterday.
