Popular Post F For Fake Posted March 16, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted March 16, 2021 The danger with going to the comic shop "just to pick up some bags" is that I usually walk out with a lot more than just bags. The SS is very rough, detached cover, but for $6 I decided to bring him home. They also got in a large collection of Blackhawk stuff. This one grabbed me. A bit brittle around the edge of the covers, with tape and all of that stuff, but still cool. The BB 34 is a decent VG copy, very solid. Love those SA DC's! So, since it's a nice big haul and I wont have too many of these in my life, I wanted to make a video. Nothing here is too expensive, my bread and butter is affordable rare comics. So lots of rare golden age that was rather affordable in 2019/2020 with some fun silver age too. There will be three short videos in total. My dad grew up on shazam and knew him as well as Captain Marvel. When the movie hit, he took the time to tell me CM origin as he knew it and remembered, to give me a heads up to relay back to him after seeing the movie. Good Times TO know someone who grew up with that age of books and/or older (batman supes etc) is just fun, you can see the joy as they recall. I keep my slabs tucked away in a box, but these three covers look so pretty together, I might have to get a UV protected frame and hang them on the wall. Also completed the Wolverine trilogy by finding 181 and 182 from the same dealer in exactly the grade I wanted.
