I got a great deal on these two bound volumes.  The first has Amazing Adventures and Astonishing Tales 1-8.  The second book has Tower of Shadows 1-9 and Chamber of Darkness 1-8.  Bound volumes are cool!

LOVE IT! I think custom bound volumes are so cool. I've gone down the rabbit hole several times, researching them and considering having some of my own done, but I don't have the patience. But I love it when other people do it, especially old school volumes like this, Very cool!

so today I was eating lunch and I found this book store and and it's filled with boxes and boxes of old books and in the back there is this a bin of old comics don't know if there is more and I only had time to look through a few of them.

Thanks buddy.  Yeah, I wish I knew the story behind them.  You know, who and why and all that.  I was into them because they’re late silver and bronze so I was all about that.  Plus, the covers are in immaculate condition.

I won something that put a real smile on my face... for about 1/4th of what the last guy paid.

:banana::whee::banana:

See if anyone knows what this is and why it is special...

it looks like a cell from a walt disney show but i can't place it... either way, i've always enjoyed such but  don't know what things like this are worth, but again if it's worth a lot then i wish i had got some batman animated series cells while i could...

I picked this up at the annual Dragon Con auction. Spoke with the author about it, Michael Stackpole. He received 12 copies of the TPB when it came out and got them signed by Mark Hamill, the model for Mara Jade (Shannon Baksa), then he signed them and donated them to charities.
