First off this is a beautiful book that is supple with tight staples and brilliant color. Also boasts off white to white pages!

and obviously now to the main issue...

the chew on the top front and back edge of the book is the bummer. Otherwise you easily have a fantastic mid grade book. The chew doesn’t affect any of the art except for the last page looks like it infringes on a word or two of a text bubble.

Grading this is tough but with the chew it of course brings it down. Overall this is a beautiful, amazingly tough book that it’s the top of any L.B. Cole collectors list.

Last issue and fantastic Worlds Fair Cover!

8th appearance of Bulletman 

Book is super supple and clean with off white pages. Only real defect is the 1/8” spine split at the bottom left edge. Book looks great for a 1940 cover date! This series does not pop up very often for sale.
