Anyone know what font DC used for their issue number and date during the early golden age?

The font above the logo here, where it says No. 21 and February, 1940.

I'm looking to find a digital font online that looks as much like this as possible. Anyone have idea what font this is, or if there's a digital equivalent?

I have about 5000 fonts in my true type library, these 2 are close but they are not perfect matches. In both cases I have stretched them slightly.

Helvetica ( which I dont have ) also has some similarities to the font as well but is also not perfect.
