My thoughts exactly.

Texas still doesn’t have the online taxes applied to sales from other states yet, which means no taxes for Clink or CC auctions,  but since Heritage is located here, we have to pay those taxes every time.

Hakes didn't charge tax on their last auction for me

Bob Storms recent sales. Mind you those are listed prices not sale prices ( as Robert tends to apply 10% discounts )

Impressive books.

Do you have links?

I couldn’t find them on the website.

Didn’t 2 or all of these just show up somewhere else for sale or auction ?

The Cap 1 3.5 price seems low

No. It was flipped by Minh

OK, neither the Bat 1 nor the 5.5 Cap 1 have had much movement for 2 weeks now.  Usually somebody breaks within the final 24 hour countdown and starts testing the waters by throwing down bids.  Nothing.  The suspense is killing me

Bats1 jumped up just now to 144K. You were saying

Unless of course you had something to do with it ...

No, not me.  But both books are still steals at their current prices.  They are still both about $80 to $100k low, I think.  I may have to walk across the street tomorrow and witness the sound and the fury in person.

When I started this thread the 2 books were getting close enough numbers at auction ( pound for pound ) but that hadn’t been the case for a while now.  The Bat has proved victorious. I still say Cap 1 deserves to be the victor ( for a number of factors ) but the market has spoken ( at least for now )
