It’s a little weird when it’s a memorable book you owned for a long time.

But it’s mostly just fun to see it again!

Right?

Which one was yours?

Funny you should ask; Filter currently has my old AF15 up in the sales forum.

I had looked at that.  It’s a great copy, and I know you must miss it.  But I would bet you’ve got something equally cool squirreled away in your collection, right?

My gut is, this Cap #1 should top the Batman #1 due to eye appeal, condition of the spine and superior PQ.

Batman #1 has pulled away from Cap #1, but this is more than just a .5 difference. Both great books for sure.

Agree

Cap 1 over the Bat 1; better eye appeal, not brittle, and still has to room to catch up to bat 1

Do these people ever get someone to purchase something like this at these prices ?

I just can’t imagine it.  Anyone looking to spend this kind of money - wouldn’t you think they would be more prudent than this?

From a strict cover to cover content point of view, Bat 1 is better than Cap 1 and is probably the top GA book out there from a pure content point of view.  (thumbsu

Bumping this thread for no good reason other than I’m tired of reading about Iron Man 55 and the like.

Anyone got anything??

So with the new joker movie out later this year, will Batman #1 get a FMV bump like it did when "Dark Knight" came out?
