Cap 1 vs Bats 1

Cap 1 is a great, great book. But perhaps it is a tad too nationalistic the way the cover communicates, for it to fire on all cylinders on a global scale. Batman however is more timeless and contains eastern Ninja sheit as well as western vigilante stuff. = global icon. Full disclosure Im not US citizen 😛

But I Love american comics.

Yes it belongs to Dave and he will say I had a small part in convincing him to buy the Cap 1.

For the amount of restoration done to the book seems like a decent price.  It has great eye appeal and perfect registration.

On a Batman 1 I would not care what restoration it has as long as it was mine. (thumbsu

I think cover cleaned should not be restoration IMO. That being said Ya you got a great chance for a conserved best of luck to you great book.

Another Bat 1 has shown up on eBay.  It’s a brittle 1.5.  I’ll be interested to see what it sells for.  With the stock market uncertainty and the end-of-year empty pockets, seems like it might have some things to overcome . . .

Did this 1.5 brittle just sell on comicconnect? Seem to recall a 1.5 brittle in the recent auctions
