Hi folks, I made the tough decision to list my run of Fantastic Comics in HA's weekly auctions to raise some family funds, and they are up and running right now.

If you know early Fox Comics, you know they are super tough to find, such that you're lucky to see even one or two issues you need at any given time. Well, here are TEN of the 23 Fantastic issues available all at once, and they are bright, good-looking yet affordable copies! Lou Fine covers, bondage and torture covers, Fletcher Hanks Stardust stories, other completely crazy stories, art by Joe Simon, George Tuska and others... these early Foxes had it all, and I hope they find good homes. Here's a link to all ten issues:

The auctions end Sunday, November 11th. Good luck guys!  :headbang:

FANTASTIC COMICS #1 CGC Apparent VG/FN 5.0 Slight (C-1). Off-white pages. First issue of the series with a dynamic Lou Fine Samson cover. Really nice color strike on this bad boy. (Also Fletcher Hanks' first work in comics... should've been a label note!) Label notes: Restoration includes: small amount of color touch on cover, small amount of glue on spine of cover, tear seals to cover.

FANTASTIC COMICS #5 CGC Apparent GD/VG 3.0 Slight (C-1). Cream to off-white pages. Cool action cover by Lou Fine... and since owning a #3 is now hopelessly out of reach for mere mortals, this is a great one to have. Label notes: Restoration includes: small amount of glue on cover. (Tape on cover, staples removed.)

FANTASTIC COMICS #6 (Fox, 1940) CGC Apparent VG- 3.5 Moderate (C-3). Off-white pages. Tough bondage/torture cover by Joe Simon. One of my favorite underrated Fox covers; you'll love these colors. Looks more like mid to high grade. Label notes: Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, spine split sealed, centerfold reinforced.

FANTASTIC COMICS #7 CGC Apparent VG- 3.5 Slight (C-1). Off-white to white pages. Awesome woman-in-glass-tube cover by Joe Simon. (Ryan H, are you still out there?) Label notes: Restoration includes: small amount of glue on spine of cover. (Extra staple added after manufacturing.)

FANTASTIC COMICS #8 CGC Apparent VG 4.0 Slight (C-1). Cream to off-white pages. Incredibly graphic torture cover by Joe Simon... kind of unbelievable that young kids could buy a cover like this off the stands back in the day. Strong colors, nice appearance. Label notes: Restoration includes: spine split sealed to cover. (Right edge trimmed.)

Fantastic Comics #9 CGC VG+ 4.5. Off-white pages. GGA cover... so bad it's good?  lol At this point Victor Fox had screwed over the Eisner-Iger freelancers and Joe Simon had departed, and the quality control rather hilariously falls off a cliff. Great stories inside nonetheless. Label notes: Centerfold detached.

FANTASTIC COMICS #12 CGC VG 4.0. Cream to off-white pages. You get a sidekick... and you get a sidekick... everyone gets a sidekick! After Detective #38 hit the stands and Robin became a fan favorite, most companies quickly gave their superheroes kid partners and Samson was no exception. Strong colors, no label notes.
