Hi

So I rolled the dice and bought this raw on ebay (I know I’m crazy) but I think I did ok. It is going to get pressed and dry cleaned next week. But I love putting it up for discussion while it goes on vacation to Florida- so please and thank you!

Has it been re-stapled at the top? I'm at 3.0 as it stands now.

spot on with the 3.0.

I'm certainly not an expert on resto, but the page edges on the right upper corner look a little too evenly cut.  Pages / wraps closer to the middle of the book are generally longer due to the assembly process.  Hard to tell due to the viewing angle, so i could be completely off.  Anyone with more experience on resto want to comment?

Me neither, but I think it is the angle the photo is taken from in this case..  Personally I like to see scans and photos taken against a dark background when the comic is predominately lighter and vice versa for darker books. Reduces shadow and highlights edges better.

I questioned that same thing... but I could not tell for sure. The person pressing it said he will screen it for resto before my window to return ends.

Sent it to be resto screened - then cleaned and pressed if resto free... wish me luck

My 3.0 cgc xmen 1 looks so close to this book. Only difference is my back cover does not have that long black staining. 2.5 but if you get that cleaned 3.0 imo.

I see where you're coming from with the grade. Pretty dirty cover, but I'm sure that's allowable on a 3.0. Good luck!

I can't see the pictures at all. I suspect that many others can't see them as well so that is likely why this is a quiet topic.

Really? Like there are no pictures or blurry?

I'm at 3.0 on this too.  3.5 possible if it was cleaned up.
