I’ve only set up at a convention once, but I was very proud that I sold over 90% of my dollar comics. 

Had good stuff in those boxes!

As a comic goer I appreciate the wrap around sweatshirt hiding the butt crack.   

P.S. I used to love on the floor box diving but I was always aware of my clothing in ratio to skin showing.

As a kid, I'd explore dollar boxes when on the floor. (They were 50 cent boxes then...) In my early 50's, I gave that up.

It depends. I think a lot of that was relatively expensive 40 years ago. I do remember going to a show in 77 or 78 with $10 and coming home with a low grade hulk 3, a low grade DD 5, a beater little abner, some GA western and a couple of other odds and ends and my brother razzing me because I got ripped off.

My similar story was 1980 and X-Men #4 for $5. A lot for this 14 year old at time...

My brother bought low grade copies of asm 2-13 for like $25 or $30. But heck, that's like $150 in today's dollars, a lot of loot for a 10 or 11.
