Just heard this from coworkers that aren't even into comics! Knew it was coming eventually but still so sad. Thank you Stan Lee for all the entertainment from my youth till now!

Just heard the news. Knew it was coming. Somehow Stan seemed larger than life to me. Sad, sad sad day for all who have been influenced by him. Hopefully he is up in the bull pen with Steve and Jack. End of an era folks.

I am so sad and depressed whe the stalwart icons pass.  We lose our links with the GA.  Wonder how comics would have evolved without Stan - I think not as good as where are now.

On a side note: I wonder how long it will take before the vultures are selling anything signed by him for 20x its current value.?

My childhood would have been much different without you, Stan.  Even though I never had the opportunity to meet you, you made a difference in my life.  Thanks for everything, Stan.  You will be greatly missed.
