I bought this very book YEARS ago on eBay with the exact same pics/description (can be seen here on Worthpoint): https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-adventure-comics-40-sandman-439817040 It was later slabbed (and had a piece of tape added over the torn spine); this auction is 100% without a doubt a scam.  Just wanted to post this as a warning to any potential bidders.

I just added that book to my watch list.  It looks authentic.  Are you saying that the seller does not actually own the book or that the book pictured is a fake/reproduction?

Knew it was too good to be true, esp with low feedback buyer with one sale in last year.  @Action252kid, what did that book grade out as, out of curiosity?  And do you still have?

It was so long ago that it was when you could tape a book and improve the grade; so believe it or not this graded out at 4.5.  Sold it many years ago though.
