I'm planning some home renovations this Winter/Spring, so I'm going to have a series of sales. The next few will b raw 10-ct Dcs,  from the 50's and  60's. I might toss in a few exceptions, but not many.

This first group will be Adventure Comics. I hope to post at least 15 books per session.

 

U.S. Shipping is whatever a regional box A costs (usually about $7.50 for the east coast and $9.80 for the West coast. I can fit at least 10 books in one of those safely. Tracking is included. If you buy more than I think can fit in a regional box A, I'll cover the difference for a larger box.

 

If you prefer, I can use a priority flat rate envelope. I can safely send up to 4 books that way, I use very strong boards. I think boxes are even safer, but it's up to you.

 

I send anything over $200 signature required. I pay for private insurance, so that is covered by me.

I will ship anywhere at cost (no handling fees) (so Canada to the South Pole, etc, is fine;) 

Paypal and checks/MO's are accepted.

 

Time payments are possible (but ask me first before posting a Take It) General rule is 20% down (non refundable) due within 3 days. The rest of the payment schedule we can work out, but the payments must be completed no later than March 2nd. If they are not, I will refund the balance minus the initial 20%.

 

Take it rules. You can post ain the thread or in a PM. If you post in the pm, put the time. I don't expect ties, but if there is one, the tie goes to the post on the thread.

 

Returns. I accept returns on anything. You have 7 days from the day you received the book to return it to me. It must be packaged the way I packed it. Please let me know before returning anything.

Adventure #216, 1953, Superboy meets Jimmy Olsen.. There are 10 on the census, pages are light and supple. Superboy and Superman together in one issue. Light overall creasing and some small tears, one on the bottom of the back cover, some at the top. Grade is VG-, (3.5) Bin $75.00

Adventure Comics #219, 1955, 10 on the census. I wonder sometimes about the fascination with Gorillas and comic book writers;) but here we go again. This one is named Chandu:) and he has x-ray eyes;)

Nice color, pages are Cr/OW or a little better. Some dust shadows on the back cover, very slight tanning halo inside the covers.  corner creases lower right and that tiny corner is missing, there is a 1/2 " tear on the fight open edge (front)  there are some spine lines, great color. Grade is  VG/F (5.0)  Bin is $85

Adventure 224, 1956, 8 on the census, great color, pages are in the white range. There is a 1.5” tear on one side of the centerfold, two small tears on the font cover and the same on the back, small cover splits on the top and bottom of the spine. A few pages have a small amount of bug damage on the lower right corner (at least I hope it's bug damage;) Grade is Gd/VG or a little better. Bin is $50
