BCarter27
Looking at ComicConnect's results from last night, I'm once again impressed by their OA returns. And not just for the Wrightson pieces and other headliners, but for the middling to low material. Despite opinions about their website, people seem to be bidding. Is this due to "small auction" syndrome? (Where everyone thinks stuff is flying under the radar at an out-of-the-way venue and they end up bidding more than they usually would.) Is it spillover from their comic buying audience? Or is it a testament to a hammer system (albeit not a sequential one like HA) versus a countdown system? I'm asking in this thread as it is more about the consignor's POV. Thoughts?
