Solid enough copy, but 1/4" horizontal tear (maybe cut) at mid-spine that penetrates entire book. This does not affect readability in the slightest. Centerfold detached at lower staple only.

My plan is to let this thread ride for another 24 hours or so, then do a soft close Monday night. I have another 40ish books from this collection (World's Finest, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Superboy) that I plan to list, but would like to wait until after holiday travels to do so.

If you have purchased and would like to settle up this week, I would like that. If you would prefer to wait a couple of weeks to see what else gets posted and combine shipping, I am fine with that too.

I will be sending PMs to purchasers to see what they would like to do. In the meantime, I am well open to offers on any book(s), not to mention the 10% discount on any book that was posted prior to the Detectives.

I'll post two new books from a different collection before I get back to the collection I started with...

Sensation Comics #104 Fr/G -- asking $99  $85 + shipping

Cover is barely attached at top staple, centerfold attached at both. Covers are attached to each other, but there is a half inch split up top and a longer 3 inch split at the bottom. Some of the paper/cover edges are a bit on the crisp side, but it can be handled without large pieces flaking off. I would consider the page edges of the first wrap or two to be brittle, but other than those edges the pages are supple. Book is complete, readable, and uncommon.

Adventure Comics #177 Pr/Fr -- asking $30 + shipping (about half of OSPG G)

A bit worse than the Sensation. Cover is detached with some splitting and pieces out at spine, but front and back are attached to each other. Tanning to inside covers with some brittleness to edges. Centerfold is attached at both staples and book is complete. Paper is reasonably supple with the possible exceptions of the very edges of the first wrap or two.
