JACKPOT #6 in qualified 3.0. Awesome WWII-era MLJ rarely for sale, featuring a very early Archie story and great war-themed stories with Mr. Justice, Steel Sterling and others. Crazy cover with bondage, torture, racist stereotypes, Nazis, you name it! The book is qualified because the final page of the Steel Sterling story is missing. Book is otherwise complete, flat and attractive. Staple areas are well worn with tears but still holding. Nice white/OW pages.

ACTION COMICS #40 in 1.5. Classic WWII Superman cover. Bold bright colors, presents superbly... must be the nicest 1.5 on the planet. The back cover is faded/tanned and has corner chipping & spine tears. Pages are dark cream but still supple with just the extreme lower left corner looking slightly brittle. Nice copy for the price.

These early issues have gotten tough... last comparable GPA sale was $1045 for a 4.0, if you can find one at all. Offwhite pages.

The pages are on the dusky side  but supple. I guess personally I’d be gentle with opening it too much because the cover looks to be getting loose at the staples. You can probably read it with care but I wouldn’t take it in the bath or anything.
