Great, Great year for me collecting wise. The only downer was the Aunt who bought me my first comic book back in the 70's as a kid one Summer(to keep me occupied while she and my Uncle took care of business at an insurance company office), passed away this October, but she opened the floodgates to my passion for this hobby. Never knew that one act would keep me interested all these years (with a brief early 20's pause) and build to what it means to me today.

Been a banner year for me collecting, thanks to selling off the last of my expensive copper age books I was able to buy myself a few nice things... will keep it to the three that gave me the most joy, one from each of my favorite GA artists.

A nice, cheap highest graded Bob Lubbers Firehair (my guilty pleasure), a ridiculously high grade Maurice Whitman cover that I'd say deserves to be called a classic, and nice high grade unicorn of a copy of my favorite GA book that CGC now agrees was drawn at least in part by Matt Baker.

Tuff year to buy. I wanted to complete my low grade readers of Fantastic four 1 to 35 Spiderman 1 to 25 and Jim 83 to123 have a lot but not complete. I wanted a 4.0 cgc Fantasy 15 just cant find a copy at a decent price.

Action 7 none at a decent price. I cant stand to buy things at 90% Fmv you lose more than that at auction.

No, there are three other copies certified at that grade in the CGC Census. The highest-graded copy is a 6.0!

A really, really cool smattering of books, truly - being the Atlas fan I am, I'd have to go with the Unknown Worlds as my favorite, but there's some definite competition.
