I am out of my league too, but since these purchases all happened in the last year, beginning with #34 in October's Octoberfest II in January 2018, with the #36 purchased off eBay in March and ending with my purchase of the #35 in December, on eBay last week, here it is.   Anyway, finished off the B&B 34-36 and 42-44 Hawkman appearances this year, so yay team!

You should see my 9.0 CBCS B&B 44 - I had it in as a runner up, then, uh oh.  That one's a definite keeper.

WOW, my jaw drops every year when I see this thread. Incredible pickups everyone.

Here are my best 3 of the year:

 

FINALLY, I was able to acquire my first copy of Amazing Spider-man 1. I've been collecting the run for over 20 years so this was a big deal to me! (sorry, no "slab" scanner). 

 

 

And also picked up my first copy of Daredevil 1, another nice presenting low grade. It's a really good feeling to pick up keys like this for the first time after collecting for so long.

 

On the original art front, I was able to strike a deal for this 1985 Eastman and Laird page from the Michelangelo Micro Series issue. I used to be a huge TMNT collector, and have now focused my collection to only the early art and merchandise, so this was another huge pickup for me:

I know I can’t compete with a lot of you guys but this was a big year for my collection. I made  great head way on more of my silver age flash run and started year off getting Flash 105. I also starting getting into collecting more original art and published art. I had a rare chance to pick up this incredible original drawing of Batman by Dell Otto from a buddy and I’m ending the year getting a published page from the Flash by my favorite Flash artist.

You read my mind! But when I bought my comics I enjoyed them too much to sell at the moment (I don't own Jo-Jo but I own So and So) I'm satisfied  i might eventually
