I like #4 & 25 because they have Death covers/appearances. But I probably still wouldn't pay more than a dollar for them.

Well, the only issues that are really "Neil Gaiman's Books of Magic" are the four issue prestige format mini series from 1990. The regular Books of Magic series was written by others. The first issue of the mini is the first appearance of Timothy Hunter, so that's a decent one to go with.

Bumping this. You might not know this, but the Books of Magic #1 (1990 Neil Gaiman) is also the first appearance of Michael Demiurgos. It's the book I am currently after (looking for it in a 9.8).
