Much thanks to Ron (I’m not sure of his board name) for some cool books. Merry Christmas.

Hey Dan!

I forgot to put my board name on the card. I was rushing to get it out so you would get them in time!

I'm glad you liked them!

Thanks so much to adampasz for a fantastic box of goodies.(worship)  Just an amazing package. The Planet hardcover was exactly what I asked for, along with the Wonder Woman figure, the hard cover books, the comics, the DVD, just WOW.

I usually ask for something for my kitchen but did not this year, somehow Adam guessed because that Batman Mug is perfect for kitchen utensils...so many many thanks  (worship)

Batman looks like he will judge you in the kitchen if you don't make the pancakes good!

You got a good gift! I see one book that I never seen before. Mickey’s Craziest Adventures looks to be good reading. Glad to see everyone is enjoying their gifts here!

Huge shout out and thank you to @ADAMANTIUM, who provided an amazing box of goodness as my SS.

I always list a bunch of options for possible gift ideas, including vintage Archies and Silver/Bronze hero books, older toys, and a mix of artists old and new, which I tend to assume provides the SS more flexibility, but could also prove intimidating given the lack of strict focus. Regardless, he really nailed it! The two older Archie books will find a happy home in my collection and that “Afterlife” 23 with the Francavilla cover is actually something I’ve had on my want list for a long time. Those two Superman books with the Adams covers - wow!!! What can you say about that 233 - a classic issue and a beautiful copy, and the 317 is yet another book I’ve been looking to pick up since forever. I have a modest collection of Treasury books but not the 7, which will be a worthy addition... also cool is that it reprints Avengers 57, which I’ve never read and will now be able to check out.

I also appreciate that vintage Star Wars cantina figure - I had a 12” Han Solo back in the day and will see if I can find him to get the gang back together. Either way this will display nicely on a shelf.  The socks and fidget spinners are fun and admittedly my daughter has already opened one of the latter, and is eyeing the Star Wars socks to wear herself... so I think I’m spreading the joy, here!

Thanks again, John, and Merry Christmas to you and all my fellow boardies - may you all be spoiled with comic goodness!

Glad you like them and some were up your alley :foryou:
