Popped top staple or Not 1 1

Just bought a comic on eBay and when it arrived the top staple was popped or pulled through.

Now I asked for a partial refund because I’m working on a Atomic Knights run. 

The dealer asked for photos of the damage I sent him a photo. Not good enough he said he wants better pictures so I sent him a couple of more,still not good enough. After sending him 4 different groups of photos of the damage he still doesn’t believe me and can’t see the damage.

So here’s the pictures. Give me some feedback does it look detached or not at the top staple

Photos show it well.  Just return book and leave appropriate feedback to stubborn seller.

If you can see the entire top of staple from inside book, there's no way it cant be popped.  Not rocket science.

I guess you could slide slip of paper between staple and cover-there's no way anyone could not see that.

don't do anything as he could say you damaged it doing that. Just get refund.

I mean you can clearly see the edge of the paper that was once under staple-this should not be possible without X Ray vision with an MRI ability to see slices of object

What do the pictures look like on the ebay post? Did he try to hide that section without looking too obvious?

I am assuming its popped off the front and back covers correct. Send it back.

The first picture makes it look attached, but the others are obviously detached.

Just to update. I got my money back in full. 

He claims I detached the staple when I first got the book. It was already detached when I opened the package. 

He said that he fixed the staple and will list it as a 5.0 now.
