After a press and clean, this has now been submitted to CGC.  Appreciate thoughts on grade.

The edges are a little rough but overall a really nice looking book. I think because of the damage on the LRH & LLH corners and along the spine in general I'm thinking

this is my first "can you spare a grade" grade...

I was thinking 6.5

If I were grading in my collection, I would grade it as "Between 6.0 to 7.0" to be ultra safe

I'd be more than happy with this in my collection, My 49 is a 4.0

Nice glossy cover! dull corners, wear on edges going to bring it down. Is the bottom staple slightly rusted? And dust shadow on the TLH corner on the back cover?

Thanks for all the expert opinions. Much appreciated.  If this comes back as a 7.0, will be ecstatic, since got this for a bargain. Will post when I CGC sends back.

I don't see enough to hammer this down to 7.0. I think it goes 7.5.

Agreed. I recently bought a graded Batman 227 @ 7.5 CGC. There are literally NO marks at all on the cover. And a black cover to boot. Unless something dreadful is going on inside, I would have given it a 9.4. I may muster courage to call and ask for the grader notes. What I am left with is a beautiful copy with a 7.5 value. Good for me at purchase time. Not so good at sale/trade time.

No, they're bacd, but not that bad!  It took about 3 months.  Had the book for a while but not posted.  Given all of the cons being cancelled, turnaround time I believe now is about 4-6 weeks and I'm in the UK.
